Nursing

PCH offer nurses and midwives a state-of-the-art working, learning, and research environment. This enables us to deliver evidence-based contemporary nursing that provides children, adolescents and their families with safe, dignified and compassionate care.

Our nurses have a comprehensive range of career opportunities, resources and employment options available.

Professional nursing registration requirements

  • Registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia (NMBA) is a requirement for employment in these roles at PCH.
  • To establish whether you will be eligible for registration as a registered nurse in Australia you should contact the NMBA directly.
  • Overseas applicants must obtain NMBA registration prior to a visa being approved by the Department of Home Affairs.
