Early Parenting Group

Who the group is for

The Early Parenting Group is for parents of babies up to 12 weeks old.

What the group covers

Your child health nurse will cover topics such as:

• feeding
• sleep and settling
• play and development
• becoming a parent.

What is involved

Free weekly 1 to 2-hour sessions, for four to six weeks.

Some virtual groups may be available in your area.

Bring your baby, and a rug or pram for them.

How to book

The nurse will usually tell you at your first home visit when the next group is starting and can book you in. If not, please contact your child health nurse for more information.
