The Research Education Program is an open-access resource provided by the Child and Adolescent Health Service's Department of Research, generously supported by the Perth Children's Hospital Foundation.

The program has drawn a broad audience since its inception in 2013, capturing clinicians, students and researchers of all levels and from all clinical disciplines (medical, support, nursing, allied health) from major hospitals, research institutes and universities across Western Australia.

The program supports staff and students in conducting high-quality, meaningful research by providing valuable education via skills seminars and workshops.

Seminars The Research Education Program presents over 20 seminars each year on a variety of topics, designed to inform and assist you through each of the seven steps of the research process.
Workshops The Research Education Program has expanded the Research Skills Workshops to include 12 workshops in 2025.
REDCap The WA Department of Health now preferentially supports REDCap use and many health service providers are switching to REDCap as the database of choice for safely entering, storing and reporting on data.
