Social media guidelines

  • abusive (name-calling, harassment, trolling, threatening or accusatory content/language)
  • widely upsetting to the community

will either be hidden or deleted. If the user continues to breach the above guidelines they will be blocked from the account.

Any user who maintains views that we consider outside of medical opinion (and are contradicted by evidence based research and expertise), that could pose a risk to individual and community health, will be blocked from the account.

Content that is:
  • defamatory, false or misleading
  • off topic
  • seeks endorsement or advertises businesses and causes
  • in breach of privacy and confidentiality of patients
will also be hidden or deleted.
