Newborn Emergency Transport Service
The Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS WA) is a mobile intensive care unit for sick newborn and young infants who need expert neonatal care units that are available at King Edward Memorial Hospital or Perth Children’s Hospital.
We service the largest transport area in the world; over 2,500kms across our state. This is done with a specialised team of doctors and nurses who are solely dedicated to providing neonatal intensive care during transport. We deliver this with the help of St John Ambulance, Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) and Medical Air.
This team also offers expert neonatal advice through a 24/7 hotline for clinical staff who are caring for seriously ill babies across state.
