Consumer engagement strategy

 

 

We have developed our first Consumer Engagement Strategy 2020-2022 to begin our journey of improving how we partner with children, young people and families in relation to:

  • clinical care, treatment and support
  • sharing feedback with us and how we use it
  • participating in improving our service.

The strategy was developed with young people, parents and carers and our staff to create goals and actions that we will work hard to achieve by the end of 2022. It describes how CAHS will further integrate and strengthen consumer engagement across all of its services.

The four goals are:

Goal 1

Work together with children, young people and families in the care we deliver.

Goal 2

Partner with children, young people and families in ways that work best for them.

Goal 3

Communicate compassionately with children, young people and families according to their unique needs.

Goal 4

Provide clear guidance for working together with children, young people and families.
