Disability access

CAHS is committed to ensuring that people with a disability are able to fully access the range of services and facilities we provide.

Disability Access and Inclusion Plans (DAIPs) are revised every five years, and a new plan is developed for the next five year period. Until now Perth Children's Hospital (formerly Princess Margaret Hospital), Community Health and Mental Health have had separate DAIPs.

The combined CAHS Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) for 2018 – 2022 has been released. You can access the document in alternative formats or ask for further information by contacting CAHS.DAIP@health.wa.gov.au or telephoning Child and Family Engagement Service on 6456 0032.

2022 DAIP review

We are currently reviewing our Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (commonly known as DAIP) to provide a focused direction for the next five years as we aim to eliminate physical, institutional, and attitudinal barriers, and empower people with disability.

Consultation with consumers, families and staff is an essential part of the review process, and we would love to hear your feedback on what our priorities should be.

Please complete this short survey before Tuesday, 25 January 2022.
