World Clinical Trials Day
Join us to celebrate World Clinical Trials Day, Monday 20 May, 2024
To celebrate World Clinical Trials day, we are inviting all Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) and Telethon Kids Institute (TKI) researchers to showcase their work by setting up a stall.
If you are a researcher, having a stall will help you give colleagues and the public special insights into the important work your do to improve the lives of sick children and young people in Western Australia.

For families there will be opportunities to learn and have fun, with the Telethon Kids Institute discovery trolley, Captain Starlight, face painting, and other child-friendly activities. The day will be themed around citrus - in recognition of the first known clinical trial which investigated the treatment of scurvy in the 1700s. |
Join us for a free workshop
Dr. Charlie McLeod will be holding a free Clinical Trials Workshop in the Telethon Kids Institute 'Manda' on level 6, from 12pm.
Meet us in the collegiate lounge from 11:30am where our staff will guide you to the location.

There will also be opportunity to discuss your clinical trial with the team from the Telethon Kids Institute and the Perth Children's Hospital Foundation to help you get your ideas up and running!
