World Clinical Trials Day

Join us to celebrate World Clinical Trials Day, Tuesday 20 May, 2025

CAHS presents World Clinical Trials Day Tuesday 20 May 2025, Perth Children's Hospital. Featuring presentations from CAHS researchers and 2 workshops. Register for free. For more information contact CAHS.clinicaltrials@health.wa.gov.au

To celebrate World Clinical Trials day, we are inviting all Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) and The Kids researchers to showcase their work by setting up a stall.

If you are a researcher, having a stall will help you give colleagues and the public special insights into the important work your do to improve the lives of sick children and young people in Western Australia.

Stall can be either:

  • public facing, on the ground floor from 10am to 12pm
  • health professional facing, in the collegiate lounge from 9am to 4pm

Please complete this form to register and notify us of your preferences.

For families there will be opportunities to learn and have fun, with The Kids Institute discovery centre dress-ups, Captain Starlight face painting and colouring-in, and other child-friendly activities. The day will be themed around citrus - in recognition of the first known clinical trial which investigated the treatment of scurvy in the 1700s.

We are also presenting 2 Clinical Trials themed workshops.
